Why do women like long nails? Its beyond me – and I’m a woman! I hate long talons – I think they are both unattractive and uncomfortable – certainly for a man holding his partner’s hand! Many do love long nails and will enhance long nails with nail art. Some nail art is quite extraordinary – like minature paintings – all slightly different or coordinated designes over all 10 fingers. It must take equal patience from the artist and the owner of the nails – and a lot of skill from the person who designs the art work!
You have to be careful with long nails – whether they are your own or artifical. I have seen a women dancing with a partner come away from the floor complaining that she had lost several nails – “No you haven’t” muttered her partner, opening his hand – and there they all were – embedded in his palm – not a happy chappy!
