It’s that time of year again: Halloween. Leaves fall and ghosts, goblins and ghouls come out. At the same time, many scrapbookers and crafters want to design Halloween projects but can’t — because they just can’t afford the money for the supplies. That’s why the huge number of free vintage Halloween cards available on the Web are so important. They give creative people at least some of the raw materials they need to make projects that look downright professional. They still have to buy adhesives, card stock and other staples necessary to create finished products, but the images are by far the most expensive part of any project. If they take advantage of vintage Halloween card images, which can be located by doing searches on the Internet, they remove the heavy cost that
comes with purchasing royalty-free art and then archiving it. That means savings that in turn gives crafters
the freedom to express their inner selves.
