This particular stretching exercise from yoga will stretch your buttocks, hamstrings and the entire back to help you increase height. Start with sitting on the floor with legs extended in front of you. Plant your palms flat on the floor at your sides exactly below each shoulder. Now tuck in your chin to your chest and start raising your head back. The final position you are going to be in will look like a table, with your trunk as the tabletop and arms and legs as the tableâ??s four legs. To get into this position, raise your body up with your hands and feet, in effect arching your back in reverse motion. Maintain a flat and straight spine once you come into the final position. Stay in the position for about 30 seconds before coming back to the starting position. Perform 5 to 10 repetitions of this reverse table pose.
